I'm Linda, owner of Tiger Lily Hair & Beauty and a mother of two grown up children.  I qualified first as a beautician in 2007 and went on to gain my hairdressing qualification in 2011.  Choosing Tiger Lily as part of my business name (as tigers are my favourite animal), 'Lily' was added from the tiger lily flower to complete the name. I am mobile only and offer ladies only haircutting & styling services, massage and body treatments in the comfort of your own home.

Hair Appointments

If you are able to do so, please wash your hair before I arrive. For new clients, please wash your hair the night before so I can see your hair dry and in its natural state.  I can then dampen it down before cutting.  Before requesting your hair appointment, please check you have booked the correct service (as detailed below).  This will ensure you have been allocated the appropriate time required to complete your hair:-


Wet Cut Trim             –  Trim to current hairstyle only (excludes adding layers/restyling)

Wet Cut Plus             –  Trim & adding layers or fringe to current style

Cut & Blow Dry          –  Cut to your current style plus blow dry

Restyle & Blow Dry  –  To change your current hairstyle plus blow dry


New Client Booking Fee

New client appointments will be confirmed by email once a non refundable booking fee of £5 has been paid by bank transfer. The booking fee holds the date & time available for you and must be paid on the day you request the appointment. This fee will then be deducted off your service cost at the appointment. The booking fee is not transferrable for rescheduled appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. Provisional appointments will be held for 12 hours, after which they will be released to other clients if no booking fee has been paid.


Parking

Please advise of any parking restrictions when booking. If there is only paid parking available, this charge will be added to your treatment price. 


Covid-19 Information

Please choose a well ventilated room for your appointment and let me know if you like me to wear a mask. Please note appointments cannot be carried out outside.


Cancellations

Please give a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations under 48 hours notice may be subject to a charge to cover lost appointment time.  No show appointments on the day will liable for the full service cost.


Payment

Payment can be made in cash or by Visa Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Apple Pay or Google Pay. I am unable to accept bank transfer payments on the day or payment by cheque. If you wish to pay by bank transfer please ensure payment is sent the day before your appointment.


Special requests

To carry out treatments in a safe and professional manner and out of respect for the clients I visit after you, please refrain from smoking - thank you for your understanding. I'm happy to work around children and/or pets as long as it is safe to do so. There are certain treatments where this would be unsafe so please bear this in mind when making a booking and arrange appropriate care if required. If you are having a relaxing treatment like a massage, please ensure your mobile phone is silenced in order to avoid interruption and gain the maximum benefit from your treatment.


Privacy Statement


Information collected about you   :

We collect information about you from any enquiry you make, when you book an appointment or during a treatment. The information you provide may include your name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, relevant medical information for a service and these will be recorded and stored for future reference.  This information is required for attending appointments at your home, to carry out the treatments booked and being able to phone you should any problems arise regarding your appointment. You will receive an email reminder of upcoming appointments a couple of days prior to your treatment. This information will only ever be used by Tiger Lily Hair & Beauty Mobile and is never shared with any third parties.

How your information will be used:

We will use your personal information to deliver the services you have booked.

We will not share your information with any other third party without your consent except to help prevent fraud, or if required to do so by law. 

You will automatically receive occasional marketing information from me but you can opt out at any time.  If you no longer wish to receive this information, please email tigerlilyhairandbeautymobile@gmail.com and ask for your name to be removed.

Where your information is kept:

Your information is password protected and stored on our booking system, mobile and password protected laptop.

Access to your personal information, correction and removal

You have the right to request a copy of your personal information that is held about you.

Please keep us updated with any changes to your personal information.

You have the right to request any information about you is removed. Relevant medical information will be kept for 7 years from the last date of treatment.
