How long will my Gels last?
Gels last anywhere between 2-6 weeks depending on how you look after your hands and the rate your nails grow.
What can I do to protect my gels?
- Do not file or cut your nails as this will break the seal of the gel and cause them to chip.
- Apply some Solar Oil at night to nourish the nails and reduce breakage/lifting
- Avoid using your nails as tools
- Suncream products & hair products such as hairspray can cause premature lifting so wash your hands immediately after use.
- Wear gloves for household chores & gardening
Should I give my nails a break from gels?
Gels don't damage the nails and aid growth but giving them a break a few days between reapplication every so often can help them rehydrate if they are feeling overly dry.
